We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, court order, or valid legal process; to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and preferences for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where information is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to countries that have not received an adequacy decision, we rely on standard contractual clauses and other appropriate safeguards.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@thelineup.is.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls on our backend systems, and regular monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may include links to third-party websites, services, or broadcast information (such as links to a network's streaming platform). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
