A spoiler-free sports app
How Hide Scores works
Turn on Hide Scores in Settings and The Lineup Is keeps results off the app, your lock screen, notifications, widgets and Siri. You still see every game ranked by its Lineup score, so you know which ones are worth your evening, and a Show score button on each game reveals it when you're ready. A game you reveal stays revealed.
Four switches let you choose where it applies: in the app, Live Activities, notifications and widgets. Turn on Hide scores everywhere to flip all four. It's free, and it's off by default.
What stays hidden
Spoilers aren't only the score. While Hide Scores is on we also hide who leads or won, labels like Comeback, Upset or Walk-off, live and post-game write-ups, win probability, box scores and line scores, goal scorers, and how a game ended: an overtime final shows as plain Final. Before a game you get a read written from facts that contain no result.
Is this game worth watching?
Every finished game on this site has a page that answers that question in one line, without the result: Worth watching: yes, one of the best games of the day, and why. Start from tonight's ranked games or a league like the NBA.
Questions
Is there a sports app that hides scores?
Yes. The Lineup Is has Hide Scores: it keeps results off the app, the lock screen, notifications, widgets and Siri, while still ranking every game by how worth watching it is. A Show score button reveals any game when you're ready. It's free on iPhone.
Can I find out if a game was worth watching without spoilers?
Yes. The Lineup Is scores every game for watchability. With Hide Scores on, you see that score and which games are worth watching, but not who won. Each finished game's page on thelineup.is answers whether it was worth watching without giving away the result.
What does Hide Scores hide besides the score?
Who leads or won, labels like Comeback or Upset, live and post-game write-ups, win probability, box scores, goal scorers, and how a game ended, so an overtime final shows as plain Final.
Does Hide Scores cost extra?
No. Hide Scores is free and off by default.
